Interesting. Now I know my varicose vein is called Popliteal. To me tho, the thigh and calf are part of the leg.

I believe it was only a portion of the deep venous system that was explained in the opposite and not the entire drainage system in the video. And it’s obvious he explained it in that manner for simplicity purposes as the deep veins corresponds to that in the arterial system. 😊

I totally agree with you. I mentioned it briefly in my first veins video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/honUaKStncykrqM&ab_channel=TaimTalksMed) at 0:42 But I did it for simplicity, as I found this way to be easier to study. I just share based on how I find things the easiest to study =) Hope it helped nevertheless!
