This band amazes me. Such a level of technical knowledge and discipline, every note has it's purpose. The way they dring dramatic changes and build tension! But it requires one to develop a taste, more you listen, more you hear their music. How do they write their songs? You can't just sit with a guitar and say "hey, listen to this rif". This is the closest to the classical music that I have heard recently.

Instead of downtuning, they uptuned.. How interesting, metal in Standard F tuning. I love it!

@@Nile8765 Placebo were using F standard tuning, but with highest string downtuned to C, so instead of Vector's FA#D#G#CF they have FA#D#G#CC

These guys are awesome! My first time hearing them live, and I'm really impressed. They're recordings are so tight and complex that I thought they wouldn't be able to pull them off live. But this was pretty darn tight. Great sound, great band.

Skeletonwitch, Havok, Vektor, and Tantara. Even though Tantara has only released one album. it stands head and shoulders above anything Revocation has ever done. In the coming years, I believe they will easily take their place in the big four of modern thrash.

@@user-in2qv1tw1r Vektor technically never even disbanded properly, there was just a bit of a hiatus between 2016 -2020. Erik the original second guitarist rejoined along with Stephen on bass and Mike on Drums and they've been playing some killer live shows since. I've seen them 3 times now and it's been amazing every time. I think we're all just very keen to get a new album from them now as it's been a long time but I'm almost certain it will be out this year.

I can easily put these guys on my top 5 metal bands. This is something to put an mark on an entirely generation. Yeah just like Iron Maiden or Dissection these atmospheric riffs and the cosmic theme are for sure an identity to stay in history. Bare in mind, on the albums he's most likely recording the vocals separately from when he's playing guitar; playing an instrument often can be a hindrance to a vocalist performing at their fullest, especially in a harsher style such as this. I mean, for all I know his voice could be getting weaker, but my guess would be that it's just a live thing.
