The reason you arent seeing 1hz on AOD is because the stock fps counter doesnt show below 24hz. Turn on GPU Watch from developer settings and watch it go down to 1hz.

Maybe consider using gpu watch from developer options. It can provide many details like fps as well as gpu and cpu utilization

Why did you need 120 hz in Instagram camera i just click the button to capture the video most of the people didn't need that I have both iphone 15 pm and s24 ultra To be honest i didn't feel the difference even i think scrolling and browsing is smoother in s24 ultra Only thing I love in iphone is app open and close animation which now close in samsung latest update

@VelianSpeaksTech sorry my mistake (hz) not (fps) But you see how close the Android come in app compatibility it's all upto app developers only now samsung in android community is working with app developers to make app compatibility smoother apple have done it 5 years ago.

2:40 its normal. Unless you need your camera rolling 120fps which consumes more battery. 2nd the moment you swipe horizontally its a switch to turn on the camera and 60hz to open the viewfinder and resulting in stutter fps. 3rd there's a split second delay in Samsung camera viewfinder, from 120hz black screen to 60hz show viewfinder Resolution, it up to the devs from Snapchat add a delay to viewfinder, or wait for the swipe animation to finish and show the viewfinder.

I totally agree with you. And I also noticed that the battery on the S24 Ultra is lasting less, meaning that I have to charge it during the day. Still I'm hoping that with the release of one UI 7 this should improve, other than that inconvenience I love my S24 Ultra because of the flat screen. 😃👍🏻

The battery took a hit with the update. I had to go into settings and turn off stuff just to save battery. It's not to bad but you do notice the battery drain. 😢

It's bad. I'm noticing it since I updated my S23 Ultra. The battery drops way quicker now. (5 - 5½ hours of SOT on medium heavy usage)

I hate the fact that samsung keeps getting with false LTPO marketing, and we're still stuck at 24hz and never dropping to 1hz. Samsung needs to be called out, it's not an android limitation because pixel can drop to 1hz.

I still dont get ... samsung say s24 series display is more efficient but the s23 series and s24 series arent a big difference in the display category ... then why isnt the AOD feature of s24 series not in the s23 series Secondly ... copying apple as always ... apple gave 4k 60fps lens shifting to iphone 15 pro max and then samsung gave it to s24 ultra ... it makes me regret buying the s23 ultra cause its still limited even though hardware is almost 97% the same
