I enjoy your channel, especially these living in America series. An exposure for us South Africans to step outside and diversify (for those who are able to do so). I love the fact that your family is moving legally, without desperation, without running away from your own country because “things aren’t working” .

R49 000 rent per month in SA gets u a mansion, a car & a dog😅.

Why would anyone pay that much for rent
@HighlyFavoured0742 ай бұрын
Hi Vee but you cannot pay 40k to someone's property as rent for years. You need your own ❤
@VelileLifestyleDecorTV2 ай бұрын
That is what we were saying. USA is not our permanent home though so we are in two minds. R40k is a lot I can buy plenty of cows. 😂😂

Too much of a rip off. I just can’t understand how people here cope with these over priced small living spaces. 🙏🏾❤️
@JAHDUBProductions2 ай бұрын
This whole system is a ripoff. And don't get hurt here. That's what I'm going through. If I had a home somewhere else, I'd be there. The money you make here, you will spend it all here. And winters here are brutal.

Maybe your daughter should be the one to buy a property in the US because she has an American husband then you guys will be living emgodini (basement)😂 when you’re in the US. I didn’t know that Howard is a black university.
@VelileLifestyleDecorTV2 ай бұрын
My daughter was born in USA and she has a dual citizenship. Anyone can buy property here if they have money. It is too expensive though. 😂 I don’t think I can live in the basement at my age. We did that when we were young and as students here two decades ago. They do have beautiful basement apartments and some are very nice though. 🙏🏾❤️

@VelileLifestyleDecorTV the only real affordable land is in the southwest but no one wants to go out there. It's like Namibia out there. (Desert style). I bought property by the grand canyon and another by the border. But I'm on the east coast now.

I have noticed that African Americans who move to Africa are not rich and most of them are looking for a cheaper better life in Africa. I wish they can be more economically active in Africa . Most buy land and build home cheaper and do their work remotely. I will do a video about this more. 🙏🏾❤️

@@southafricaismyhome814 Rastafari showed some of us here that Africa is, was and will be the richest continent ever. Even still, with that, I have alot to learn. But I know we must unite. And I hope that one day, I can be there because it's time to forward out of Babylon.
