You really have a gift for teaching. You are clear and concise and break it down so making cards is easy. Not everyone can do that. These cards are beautiful.

I am anxious to try the thicker vellum for this technique. I have loads of the older, thinner vellum and have always had a problem embossing on it.

What beautiful cards! Also, you helped me with the problem I've been having with black embossing powder. You are right, it gets EVERYWHERE, and I just have not been able to get a clear embossed image in black. I've tried everything I can think of to prevent that. I will try the black ink and clear embossing powder. TFS!

Where in the UK can you get 40lb vellum??, I have got heavy duty vellum, but its not thick enough when I tried to copy your card. Lovely technique Jennifer.

I need to do a card for a woman who's part of my pottery group, who's in hospital. it's going to be from all of us, and I've been panicking a bit, not having any solid ideas. But I do now, so a very big thank you. I've got everything to make the card. Would it look wrong if I put an inner piece of folded paper inside, so there's more room for everyone to write a message on?? Maybe fasten it in with ribbon??
