The writers are so inept that they waited to episode 7. To reveal the fact we already know the victims were link to project scooby, and the killer could've altered their voice. Its also thanks to Norville that he figured out his Grandmother was still alive and that she wanted someone to check out the military base to see if the military was still trying to copy her work. Just to force the information about what's going on to Velma.

2 things to keep in mind. 1. The season is almost over and they just told us the one connection to the serial killer we all figured out episodes ago. That its all connected to project scooby. 2. Daphne's mom constantly told people they are bad at their job. They let a known suspect out to prove their innocence, and they have the gall to get mad at their supporters for not doing more.

Im glad Velma exists, cause for those who want to write and are too ashamed they may not be good enough can look at a few scenes of this show and be like "Oh there's no way I'm that bad at writing" and gain confidence in their own skills xP Cause every aspect of this shows writing, whether its the plot, tone and character writing, every single aspect is something you should actively avoid in a storytelling perspective. So study well everyone wanting to be a writer, Velma is a perfect example of what you should not do in every single way.

The fact they have to retroactively have Daphne cheat on Velma in an attempt to make Velma the better person in the relationship by making Daphne apologize for something... They are bending over so far backwards to try to make Velma look good by contrast their heads up firmly up their asses licking their own tonsils, and it still isn't working. Also the writing just bad. Like did they only realize this far in how undeserving of love and happiness this... _THING_ is, that they didn't think up the cheating subplot in the forehand, or is this just another case of introducing a dilemma to solve it literally five seconds later again? Oh who am I kidding, it's the latter, it's always the close an issue five seconds after it's brought up thing.

9:00 YES We need a Velma x Rick and Morty Crossover! It would simultaneously be the best ever show of Velma and worst ever show of Rick and Morty.

Honestly, I forget that this show is supposed to be a reboot of Scooby doo, that’s how much they butchered these characters.

Isn't it something that women made their own society. That they immediately put the people they didn't like into doing the jobs they didn't want to do. While there are groups chilling out and get catered in less than an hour.
