Great job. And I allways think that the "old style" Cannondale bikes are better looking than the new ones. They used to be "different", now they are just the same as all the others. And again, great job👍👍👍🇪🇺🇳🇱

I like what you did with the small details, “The devil’s in the details.” About 30 years ago I did something similar. I bought an old Stumpjumper frame, so old the rear brake bosses were on the bottom of the chainstays. Anyway, I was a welder/fabricator at the time so I took the frame to work, re-aligned the frame, took off all the old bosses, welded new ones on, welded a new rear drop out hanger on, bead blasted & primed it white, did a 3 color fade (from fork to seat stays/chain stays) of fluorescent orange, yellow, red and clear coated it. Built the wheelset, and installed the first gen Grip Shift (at the time it only 3 moving parts vs. Rapid Fire’s 100+), new drivetrain, cassette, bb, and it became my daily driver. What a fun project. Unfortunately this was the early 90’s and there was no YT, let alone internet. Thanks.

Sounds great, I also did some projects long before the INTERNET ....we are OLD 🤣

30 years ago there were no "old" stumpjumper frames with ubrake mounts. There was a 1987 model year and 1988 model year with a 990 mount in the stumpy lineup, the rockhopper had a ubrake until 1990 on the 14.5. That's it. They were not "old" at the time.
