Veloster Turbo Custom Exhaust Cold Start

Here is my 2013 Veloster turbo tuned by sxth element engineering. I am running their 3.5inch catless downpipe as well. The car is pretty much straight piped aside from the muffler that came with the solo performance exhaust kit because I had the resonator cut off and replaced with 3 inch piping. Enjoy!

Is this car more reliable than the mazda speed 3? My friends mazda speed 3 has head gasket issues and he already needs a new turbo only at 126,000kms. I own a 2010 hyundai elantra 5 speed manual so I already like hyundai but I was just wondering if their turbos engines are reliable daily abused?

Taijean Moodie my ‘13 has 81k miles on it with no problems

Taijean Moodie the 2013 turbos are known to have some motor issues. So far I’m at 41k miles and full-bolt on and tuned with little to no issues besides regular maintenance. The car is my daily and is by no means “fast” but for what it is, it’s a quick, fun, affordable, and so far reliable car.

Was a 2013 which are known to have serious turbo and engine problems. I only owed 3k and got 6k for and bought a wrx that I absolutely love now. I do miss this car sometimes though

Random Roofus well I actually don’t have the car anymore but I had a NIA Auto Design front splitter and rear spats. I actually still have the spats for sale.

I know you've long gotten rid of the car, but do you have an Instagram? I'd love to see more pictures of the car for inspiration for my build!
