We appreciate your compliment. We have reviewed many rugged eBikes on trails like these and we hope you'll explore those as well.

Great review as always. Velotric has some terrific bikes at terrific prices. After spending several months perusing reviews from multiple sources it seems like the battle for outstanding, affordable Ebikes is between Velotric and Aventon. In my mind Velotric has a slight upper hand with design, especially their cable management. Aventon has better lighting arrangements and even more important for many of us, a widespread dealer network. I'm pretty much down to Aventon Soltera .2 or Velotric T1 ST but can't find a shop that actually stocks a variety of Velotric bikes for test rides within 300 miles of Seattle. Impossible to know if their bike will slip into my hatchback or know how it fits me. That alone may "force" me to Aventon. Looking forward to your lightweight city bike reviews.

The T1ST is lighter and smoother with superior components. The Soltera.2 turn signals and integrated rear light are its two major advantages. Soltera.2 is offered in larger frame sizes which are more accommodating for tall riders (6ft+) We reviewed the Aventon Soltera.2: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJi1c6idjJ2MqNE -Producer Tim

Yeah, if they offer an integrated headlight, gotta do the same for the rear light. It really moves on PA 5 for such a heavy bike! That was an odd road you were on: out in rural Michigan…? The trail was quite a change, but it seemed to handle it well. I like cruiser handlebars, but my wife… swapped them out for straight ones on her new Magnum e-bike. Well… different bikes for different types.

This is a solid off-road option. It's great to know we can swap parts to suit individual preferences, but we ride this one stock. Thanks for commenting. Stay tuned for more new Velotric reviews this spring. -Producer Tim

There is a big risk to the company to produce different colors. They could end up with inventory that no one wants if the color or shade is not popular.

And it happens frequently to the big guys which end up discounting unpopular colors. In 2024, we'll see some major DTC eBike brands reduce complexity/variety for new models. @@iscootct

test rode the Nomad 1 twice, and loved it. I am holding out hope, though, that they'll bring it out with a torque sensor soon. I already have a cadence sensor on my OG Himiway Cruiser (which still kicks butt, btw, but now I want the torque sensor). Loved the comfortable ride of the Nomad, though.

Manufacturers have begun sending us advance eBikes to review before they launch in 2024. So far, none of them have cadence sensors. Torque sensors are now mainstream. As the winners emerge and the herd of eBike companies is thinned, we'll see impressive iterations of existing models and category expansion by leaders like Velotric. Stay tuned to our channel for many new reviews April-August. -Producer Tim

I could have sworn the Nomad has a cadence sensor now. Is that wrong? It's a great ride.@@MissGoElectricRideReviews

In this review, Miss GoElectric does establish that the Nomad1 has a cadence sensor, in line with your observations. My statement above is forward looking and not specific to previous generation bikes like the Nomad 1. Thank you for watching and commenting. -Producer Tim@@tonygiancoli9626

Good review-bike always looks better when the reviewer is a good 👀 looking babe! Well done - this video just put the Nomad on my short list for purchase soon. Veloric has a dealer network too - another bonus highlight. My local bike shop is an Aventon dealer and while there I got my first look at the Veloric brand in his showroom along with many Aventon bikes. Veloric will keep Aventon honest with offerings like this Nomad. Good business for everybody. Win Win / Sorry if I misspelled Velotic😢

So how hard is it to just oedal to get a good cardio workout in i am recovering from total knee replacement and they said riding would help. I would moslty be trying to pedal to workout but like the idea of assist if knee gets too sore.

If the battery is 14.4 amp hours and the charger is 3 amps, then the max charging time is 14.4/3 = 4.8 hours. Less than the 5-6 hours as the video states.

The battery management system will not charge at the battery at the maximum achievable rate from 0-100% in all conditions. The charge time estimate provided by the manufacturer is conservative to account for inconsistencies, allowing consumer expectations to be met or exceeded. -Producer Tim
