Velotric will email directions on un restricting the speed. It will top out at over 25 with the restriction lifted.

@@bruceatwell6031 how did you unlock the speed limit? Is it by holding down the up and down buttons?
@bruceatwell6031 Жыл бұрын
@@JesusIsTheWay2024 I forget, but for some reason I seem to think it was by holding down the UP button for about fifteen seconds and then setting the limiter to 42 from 38. Something like that.

How do you like it? Mine arrives tomorrow. I have trouble trusting youtubers when they clearly have incentive to get us to buy their stuff
@diffizzle307211 ай бұрын
I get mine today so we'll both be trying it out at the same time. I tend to trust this channels reviews more than others. You can tell when he doesn't think a bike is a good value. Watched his Hovsco review and he said that bike is much better value than an Aventon Aventure for example. Also for me the UL cert on the battery is a big deal, it means Velotric has at least done some due dilligance compared to others. @@cynic256

Thanks your review sold me on this bike, and I used your code. Is there a way to unlock all the potential for riding on private property, primarily the speed limit?
@scotthillman7393 Жыл бұрын
Hold the power and + button together for 20 seconds while the bike is off. When the speed limit turns on then press the plus button all the way up. It will go 25

I'm wondering about this vs the electric Xpress and also thinking about the velotric t1ST, I'll probably end up getting nothing because I'm OCD but maybe someone pointers can be had, have great day everyone and feel free to chime in. I wish the t1ST had a removable. Battery and you could carry a spare in a rucksack but eh.

Very nice review. Thank you! I'll be purchasing an ebike shortly just wondering if it's worth getting a 2nd battery? A couple of companies are offering deals on a 2nd battery with a purchase of an ebike, like $200 off. Of course there are riding variables but in general, if there is a $200 off battery deal, would you recommend taking advantage of the deal?
@JuicedJoyrides Жыл бұрын
I personally do not feel the extra battery is worth it, but that’s only for my personal riding style. I can go as far as I would ever want to go on a single charge for my purposes, but I do understand some people have different intentions and riding purposes with their bike. Hopefully this helps, please consider using my discount link to save you some money, and also helps support my reviews. Thanks, happy riding!

I live in a hilly part of Virginia. Specifically I live in a neighborhood that has about a .3 mile climb that is rather steep. Which bikes have you tested that could make it up a steep grade sustained with pedal assist.

Great video. I am looking to purchase an e-bike. Your videos have been helpful. Do you, or anyone reading this, have experience with this company's customer service? I've been told to spend more and buy local because of customer service, but I also know that's what I would expect a salesperson at a local store to tell me. 😂🙂

I’m 5’17”, another way to say it is 6’5”. You’ll be at the top end of the height range, worse case scenario you could install a slightly longer seat post for a few bucks extra, if you want more leg extension. I think you’ll be fine.
@PatrickJoseph00711 ай бұрын
Velotric states you can be up to 6'9" with the step over model and it will fit you. I'm 6'6" and 300 pounds and the Nomad 1 fits me fine.

Disappointed that you are given a bike by the manufacturer and then asked to review a free bike that you've been given. It lacks true objectivity.
