I'm a Linda Perry fan, and this proves something I used to tell friends about 4 Non Blondes: Perry has a Zeppelin vibe, like she's got Plant's voice and Page's producer's mind--and she nails this song! Chuck Klosterman had asked Plant in an interview why he hadn't used centimeter instead of inch in the song, given that the Brits use the metric system, and Plant had said that that would rob the lyric of its double entendre as well as the lascivious cadence. So I guess, Plant had indeed meant a literal interpretation in this case. Who knows anyway? :P Linda Perry for the record is amazing in this performance.

I'd moved away from the obvious phallus reference. I was pointing out the bigger picture that Jimmy Page in particular was fascinated by the occult going as far as to buy Aleister Crowley's house where Led Zep spent much time. This is what influenced their lyrics. Magick, Satanism And Zeppelin on Google video and many others. Someone who knows has verified this to me and publicly.

The sad part of this clip is the mix sucks. The vox are so far under the triple assault of guitars you can barely hear her. The mix is actually so poor the entire tune is like nails on a chalkboard.
