Everyone goes poor Scott, but I prefer to admire the amazing job that Duff did turning his life around, he's an inspiration for the people who are going through that

Scott was one of the last rockstars the world ever knew. Him, Axl and Kurt really were the goat frontmen of their respective genres

@@FWDSUXARSE I mean Layne and Chris are absurdly talented, Dirt and Badmotorfinger are both in my top 10 (I grew up in Seattle during the early 90's and got to see some of the best live shows ever, my reverence for 'grunge' is as high as can be) but rockstardom isn't just talent, it's excess, it's that outward kind of 'fuck you', whether it's Kurt purposely fucking up an entire set to get revenge an audience that treated an all-woman opening band poorly, Axl jumping in the crowd to beat someone's ass, things like that, a total fearlessness. Layne and Chris were cut from a different cloth than people like Scott Weiland and Axl. They're all talented but Chris Cornell just never came across like a 'rockstar' type to me. Kurt really didn't either, but because he gave absolutely zero fucks at all it allowed him to do things that were legendary (and he was never afraid to check security for being too rough with the fans either). Not saying I"m right and you're wrong, just explaining why I think Layna and Chris were in a bit more contemplative state of mind than guys like Axl and Weiland

This song has such an amazing energy! Detail for the crowd back in 2004 where used to enjoy the concert instead of watching it from your phone while it is recording the whole concert.

I was lucky enough to see him with Velvet Revolver at the Aragon back when the first album dropped. I was in my mid 20s at that point.

Saw them at Newcastle UK. I know a lot of the gangsters in our small city. Security told me he saw Scott lock the toilet door, hear him shoot up then, 15mins later walk straight out to open the show.

Scott's range wasn't that great. When STP came out honestly they were pretty much a poor man's version of Alice N Chains and Scott always wanted to be Layne so much so just look at early 90's pics of them both they look like fucking brothers almost. Lol. Far as front men go yeah Axl was great but no longer Scott wanted to be Layne and ended up a drugged out scarp heap version of Mick Jagger Combined with Layne and no more. Cornell was great with Soundgarden and Audio Slave but let's be honest the real last great front men of Rock n Roll were the likes of Ozzy , Jim Morrison, David Lee Roth, Steven Tyler, Mick Jagger, Freddie Mercury, Ian from The Cult , and so many many more I can think of that were and some obviously are still alive and still better today than Scott EVER was. Just 1 man's opinion of course. And that's NOT taking ANYTHING away from Scott he was very good obviously but no where near one of the best ever just simply wasn't. Sorry. Liked him and enjoyed his performances and his persona very much he's a viable front man lead singer but no not in top 20 even of best ever.
