Myles has never had, and never will have “lead singer’s disease.” Just a humble guy with a lot of freaking talent.

@@Dave_Albright Lead singer disease, as I understand it, is having to be in the front while the rest of the band is behind. Scott Stapp was said to have it.

@@Dave_Albright lead singer disease is a joke referring to how lead singers usually believe themselves as the center of the band and get really pretentious and cocky, It happened to Axl Rose in the 90s and it ended up getting GnR separated

This is soo wholesome to see Slash having a blast with a crew he truly likes. His alchemy with Myles is great and both look great together. Not even talking about Myles' talent, the guy's amazing. I'm happy he found his way out of GN'R, cause this is fire.
@koaladelespace
@koaladelespace 5 жыл бұрын
@@LukaCuturic yea i know a little about it since i've seen them live in my city in august 2017:') should have said i'm happy slash is producing music without GN'R, since GN'R has became more of a celebration of the past (the not in this lifetime world tour was more of "oh do you remember the 80s and the 90s, it was great huh?") than anything else. And I don't complain, it's great to see Duff Axl and Slash play together again. It's juste not the same; it's more industrial than anything else. Simple fact: The not in this lifetime world tour has became the second highest grossing concert tour of all time (>500M$) (and i contributed lol). but look at slash with myles & the conspirators: more down to earth concerts, more intimate stage, association of a rock legend with more recent amazing talented musicians, all in the spirit of just making music. So, that's what i was talking about when i said "found his way out of GN'R"; now slash doesn't rely on them anymore; he can go with his own group and it'll be great

@@koaladelespace finally somebody said it, i listened to GnRs growing up, and they sound great, but i cant help but think slash is what ultimately made the band famous, its just like Mark Tremonti is what made creed famous, if it wasnt for him creed wouldnt be as beloved today.

Not to be nerdy, but Scott's voice leans really heavy on vocal fry... That adds a depth, richness, thickness and emotiveness, even when you can't hear the 'crunch' of the fry... Myles would had to go an octave up on the chorus for it to work with his voice, imo...

@Colleen Collie 2010 that was somewhere around 9 years ago. This band will still continue even with guns n roses being back. I can't see slash and myles giving this band up. Hell tremonti has a solo, alter bridge, and possibly creed. Myles has this, alter bridge, and a solo gig. So why couldn't slash.

@centralia83
@centralia83 5 жыл бұрын
Luke Fitzpatrick these guys are just saying they want more. That 3 albums isn’t enough. On average a band puts out an album about every 2 years. Some bands take longer to release an album. The last alter bridge album was 2016, one coming this year. Alter bridge releases an album about every 3 years. Tremonti put out like 4 albums in like 6 years. These guys have been doing this for like 10 years and have released 3. There was a 4 year gap in between world on fire. Should have put out at least 2 albums in 4 years. But the reason they didn’t is because Myles wanted to do a solo album and slash is busy with Guns N’ Roses getting back together and writing a new Guns N’ Roses album

Probably talking about guitarists nobody has such an "iconic status" as Slash. I mean the dude is an amazing guitar player but he's even bigger as an icon at this point imo. His look is almost like a trademark too. Don't forget it's Slash featuring all the others. All amazing musicians ofc

exactly not to mention slash's son is in a band himself with the son of Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland as the front man and slash's son is the drummer weirdly enough lol

@@brycewood6213Wow, thanks for the info, cool...I didn't know about it so I just took a deeper look on the net about the topic. The son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo was involved too. Noah Weiland and Tye Trujillo previously played together in Suspect208 alongside Slash's son, London Hudson, before splitting in May (2021). Noah Weiland and Tye Trujillo have formed a new project under the moniker Blu Weekend.
