I was very fortunate to of seen the velvets during their one off reunion tour of Europe they only did 3 gigs in Britain I was lucky enough to get 2 tickets to see them at Wembley Arena they done 2 gigs there and did Glastonbury before flying back to America and all the great gigs I’ve been to over the years no one compares to the gig of the velvets it was a honour and a great privilege to of seen the original line up I loved every minute of the gig

For sure, the inclusion of 'Heroin' on the Doors Movie soundtrack back in the early 1990s was a big boost for their exposure & probably made this reunion possible.
