English is not my first language so bear with me haha but about the drill issue, you have to get the specific drill bit (I think that's how you call it) to perforate the wall. I mean, if it's a brick wall you have to use a brick drill bit and the same goes to stone, metal, etc etc. I hope that helps if you still want to hang the shelves in the future! :)

You say that the green drawers done go but the colour matches nicely with your rug, the Oliver bonas lamp and generally I think it’s really complimentary with the pink and mustard tones! Definitely keep it!

There’s probably a metal firewall in place which is why you can’t drill above the fireplace. Looks great though!

To hide the wires you could cut a wrapping paper tube in half, paint it and stick it to the wall. Then you’d be able to feed the wires through and you could buy a little bin to hide the plug sockets

You should paint the shelf brackets with the same color as the pink arch so they blend in! I think it would look nice! Everything turned out really nice though and all that natural light is amazing!! ✨💕

I was recently watching a diy on tik tok where they repainted a set of drawers grey, but left the top and bottom parts pine. I suggested that they should paint the top and bottom bits white. They replied to me telling me thats not their colour scheme and called me "KAREN" 😂
