The right oppressed the people in south america, but the left communism was agressive too. Countries like Chile under starvation , Cuba is until today a banana republic, like Venezuela and Nicaragua. Guerrillas like FARC, TUPAMAROS and Sendero Luminoso made attacks against its own people to take power. It was a dark period for living in south america under any side.

For that reason, the army asked the air force to send a bomber, as the battle had gone on much longer of what was expected for the high command.
