Good story , got to start the whole series , yet what I see in our art seems to be surrounding space or internal human error. What the subconciouse is saying about something perhaps here and changing us for thousands of years. Each impact sight has a change of colouration soon a mine searching along a fallout line while an abbey is then built. All near impact sights. Perhaps our enemy is alien vegetation. . the colouration and rapid adapting disiduouse trees while we are changed and changing with them . The disiduouse trees all colours and adapting from asteroidal impact sights. Perhaps we start our fears in the movie yet the closer killer adapts and as with China the blossoms become unbreathable , and the change more as a physical addiction until one year they never grow back , and somehow we just watched this terraform and then end us all the while something different seeds the universe for its own atmosphere and adapted for life as yet simply looking on

Okay, Shane. What's the deal with Jason and Jace's age? At the start of this book you say he's 24. But in other areas of the storyline you said the Praetorian war was 6 years ago and lasted 2 years. And you said Jason and the Jack's fight together in that war. If the went to some sort of military college of 3 or 4 years, that would make them each 12 when they entered fleet college. This can't be right, or are they all junior savants?

Hey Sheryl! Glad to see you! Jason and Jayce (and the other Jacks) were stuck in a unique situation. Academy cadets were pressed into service during the time they would otherwise have been completing their courses of study. The Hunters didn't see action until the last eighteen months of the campaign against Sarn forces, and almost all of that time was ostensibly post-cease-fire. Their missions were primarily to defeat Imperial forces that weren't willing to abide by the terms of the agreement between the former emperor and the Alliance government. Jayce got into the command rotation by accepting a commission as an engineer, while Jason rose through the ranks primarily because of his role with Yellowjacket Nine. Many readers have requested titles covering the Academy days and the adventures of Jason's fighter squadron. Both are on my to-do list. Thanks for being a Starships reader!

@@ShaneLochlannBlack Academy? Oh I can already see it, Jayce buying cheap kids toys and trying to turn them into the real thing. And Jason, oh that boy. I too have a request. Can your team put together for KZbin, a Ibrean Wilit's (sorry about buggering up the spelling), focused segment?

An Aibreann Willits story? How about an original mini-story with the mini-bots? I think that would be rather entertaining. What do you think?

That sounds fantastic. 🥁🎆
