Vending machine repair

hi there. I recently purchased a snackshop 2 vending machine. I'm having a few issues with it. when trying to program it and after all said and done . I shut the snack vending machine door and the power from the key and coin display turns off. I've check for kinks or a wire that's caught but I don't see anything. if you could respond and help me out that would be grate. TY...
