I keep coming back to this. I love it. There's no predictable pattern. It's one continuous recognizable jam but seemingly all over the place.
@williamjohnson25903 жыл бұрын
it's in 7/4. just count to seven over and over and over in time with the beat. aaron funk lives in that time signature though so it works. check out unsquare dance by dave brubeck if you need an intro to 7/4

Incredible performance, excellent drum and cymbal sounds too! I like the sound of your ride a lot. I can't imagine having to listen to this record enough times to learn this! I can only take so much breakcore / drill / whatever at a time, but I do very much appreciate it on a technical level.

Wow, I can only imagine how long this took to learn. What's really amazing is that the drumming is near perfectly lined up to what was originally recorded. This guy has some superb control and timing. If he is also good and keeping a simple 4 on the floor with a super funky groove, then he's the perfect drummer.
@RoomUnderwater12 жыл бұрын
this is very impressive. i never thought an actual v snares drum cover would/could ever be made.
@xsquaredthemusician8 жыл бұрын
WOAH. This deconstructs the drumming so much! I am almost surprised by how, "simple" it seems, seeing you play it live. I'm not saying that this was easy to play by any means, because it obviously wasn't. But I do think it's interesting how seeing you play it does break down the rhythm. It sort of "grounds" it in reality, if that makes sense.
