Venezuela is one of the countries with more protected land and water areas. The most beautiful beaches of Venezuela (there are over 400 total), are in National Parks. Morrocoy National Park is one of them, you can visit around 18 cayos (little islands) and the water is even more beautiful in person than what a camera can show. Other National Parks with beautiful beaches are Henri Pitier, you can find La Ciénega beach there with these cristaline water with white sands there, and bioluminescense of plancton in some months of the year by night, is beautiful. Also have Mochima National Park, some island and cristaline water beaches there also, not same color but the beaches are astonishing... And the top is Los Roques, a lot more expensive to go there, but with lot more islands to visit, water and sand is considered one of the Top 40 most beautiful beaches in the world by National Geographic. The benefit of National Parks its that there are no big hotels or constructions in these places, with few exceptions. Los Roques have Posadas (Hostels) in the main island, but not hotels. So, they are unpopulated virgin nature, only full on weekends and vacation time, but most of the time you can go on a weekday and have an island just for yourself. It's an amazing experience.
