alot of the people that were able to apply for TPS entered the USA with legal visas, on legal points of entry and were in the USA when the TPS option went into effect, so they took advantage of that, another large group were stuck in the USA during COVID, so those two cases were legally in the USA and then applied for TPS, paid fees, presented documents and tried the legal process, those that crossed the border by breaking the law, definitely should not be allowed to stay.
