Yes it's true. They don't keep them in jail because they don't get federal funding or state funding to house illegals in jail like they do for Americans. Since they are not citizens they legally do not have to be held to the same laws as Americans which is why you hear about them driving without license or insurance as well and they don't get arrested because they can't legally ask them to pay fines and it isn't even illegal for them to drive without a license because not being a citizen means you did not make a legal agreement to follow the law anyway you can see this happening with your own eyes and what I explained is why. They can't make money or get reimbursed for the time spent arresting them or keeping them in jail
