480 rwhp seems low for these mods, my Camaro has the Vengeance Kaotic cam, Kooks longtubes with no cats, a K&N intake and borla cat-back and it's at 475 rwhp. Stock intake manifold and throttle body

save that $1500 and don't buy that Fast Intake and Nick Williams 102mm. it only gives you +7hp. It's the worst waste of money there is on any LS3/L99.

I am little disappointed at the 480hp numbers, I feel with slightly ported fast intake, ported throttle body, & cam these numbers should have been little closer to 500 if not a little over the 5 mark.

GPI stage 3 cam alone makes more. Step up to stage 4 and you are close to 500whp

GPI stage 3 cam can make close to 500 rear wheel horsepower with a 3 inch catless exhaust 1 7/8 longtube headers and a good tune you'll be loosing torque down low and to get the most from this camshaft you'll be needing a circle D 4200rpm stall converter or it at least a 3600rpm stall converter if not it will be a complete dog from a dead stop but it will make almost 500 rear wheel horsepower on a dyno the stage 4 you mentioned can make 500+ rear wheel horsepower with the same bolt-ons mentioned above but peak torque is at 5500-5700rpm this means that for this camshaft to work you'll be needing a 4800-5000rpm stall converter it will make 500+ horsepower to the rear wheels with a stock stall converter but it won't translate to faster quarter mile times because the engine will be extremely lazy below 4200rpm so rear wheel horsepower is impressive but faster quarter mile times are more impressive and having everything match with your setup is way more important than rear wheel horsepower numbers

Its very diffulcult to get 500 wheel hp on the 5th gen. Most without heads are 440 to 450 with boltons and cam. With heads around 470..475 maybe a touch more on the ls3. Those claiming close to 500 with boltons cam and heads are being played.

Having matching components stall converter rear gearing is more important than rear wheel horsepower numbers your right most claiming 500 or more rear wheel horsepower are dreaming to make 500 rear wheel horsepower would mean 590-610 crankshaft horsepower from a stock long block LS3 naturally aspirated from a 376 CI engine is stretching it a bit a really good setup is probably more like 560-580 which would be 450-480 rear wheel

fukjabi nice set up but I think you need a better tune my 2011 2/ss made 485 whp and 440 wheel torque on a btr stage 4 cam,kooks headers and variram intake cats deleted straight pipe I did the btr cam kit also and msd wires but that was it on that build
