Great video! Still don’t like the lack of thematic sense that you can’t fire the gun in the same room you’re in. However, the gunman can shoot you in the same room. I mean John wick totally shot people point blank.

Lol yeah Naveen also commented that exact same sentiment!

@@BeforeYouPlay cuz he’s a smart man, that Naveen! I did back the Kickstarter and posted a comment about it but I haven’t heard from the creator about it yet.

@@BeforeYouPlay for any of your other viewers (and Naveen) who are wondering, here is the reply from on of the designer/collaborators on the game with regard to this thematic dissonance “So the Vengeance fight system is more of a thematic puzzle than a simulation. For that puzzle to work different results need to be applicable to certain situations and not others from both your side and the enemies' side. There ARE abilities that allow you to use shot results in the same room, and the sort of gun kata play you are describing is there, in the form of abilities. Thus a "shot" represents any form of attack that works best at a non-melee range. Again, range is abstracted more than in simulationy games here, with the current zone and adjacent zones representing you being in melee versus you being disengaged or at least having time to line up a shot without a baseball bat to the face. It's also worth mentioning that shooting pistols at very close ranges at moving targets while you're also moving requires some SERIOUS skill and training - which is exactly what the abilities are meant to represent.”
