Venice Beach Boardwalk Homeless Encampments Cleanup: Multi-Agency Task Force in Action

Venice, Los Angeles - August 23, 2024: On Friday, a significant cleanup operation was conducted at the Venice Beach Boardwalk, targeting local homeless encampments with the involvement of a multi-agency task force. This team comprised members from the Los Angeles Park Rangers, the Los Angeles Police Department, the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works, Recreation and Parks, Clean Harbors Environmental Inc., the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA), and the office of Councilwoman Traci Park.
The operation was safely and efficiently managed with the presence of Los Angeles Police Officers and Park Rangers. This woman having a meltdown is a prime example of why you can't let this sort of thing go on and on and on like this for years, unchecked. We've done a terrible job managing all of this. People get comfortable setting up piles of trash and making a home on the sidewalk, the laws are not enforced in any serious way and people think they can set up forever. Then the clean ups come and they are beside themselves with frustration when their stuff is hauled away. You can't live on the sidewalk. It's illegal. But this has to be enforced with real penalties, not in this half ass way we keep doing it where they are allowed to come back again and again. People have to either accept help, leave the area permanently or they will be arrested. No more of this "gray zone" existence.

Those small beach front condo units are like $2 million dollars with excessive taxation on everything. Hotels are very pricey too for it's a jetsetter world citizen sort of place. I don't guess it's a go to camp out in Beverly Hills among the stars is it? When I was a teen in the 80's, I dreamed nonstop about running off to LA from Missouri wanting the heavy metal band music scene and the fame of Hollywood magic, but lucky the police pulled over the car I thumbed on the highway upon running away from home shortly after my parents divorced. The juvenile probation office in that small Missouri town celebrated proudly they had a new control over me even going as far as accusing me of stealing a $10 bicycle which I pressed through the court all the way to taking an expensive polygraph torture session to basically tell the hypocrites to stuff it. The evil fascism came out of Nazi Germany as Paperclip immigration program without the swastikas while carefully planned and written cultural Marxism was heavily dosed in MTV and America's national myth of being a most wonderful social democracy that's never to be while gross debt usury and deceptive job market is the norm. It all contributes to the new world order out of chaos being a dysfunctional dangerous experiment that even involved the American people dosed 928 times by the bomb. Then we wonder why we have chronic homelessness, social disorder, high crime, and the world's most major mental health crisis.

Meds, documents, and electronics stay in your backpack you take everywhere with you and keep no further than sitting at your feet. How does anyone collect that much luggage camping on a street without a vehicle? The important things she was screaming about are one small organized backpack. Anything more than that requires a storage unit to secure. She probably seen the major cleaning warning sign, but decided to be a fool. The insects the cop mentioned are surely the horrible bed bugs. Just sitting down, riding trains and buses, and being there most certainly requires some Crossfire spray and a washing machine with hot water. Tourists are most certainly also subject to itchy bed bug infestations leaving painful red whelps on their bodies in hotels, sit down places, and public transit in our decrepit decaying cities that were once nice, but are now just corporate companies sucking all the money and vibrance out with excessive rents, usury, and outlandish high prices which is exactly how countries become ruined many called 3rd world nightmares despite pretty birds and trees existing from humans feeding and watering pretending it's paradise.

I understand the three ladies that stopped to protest I really do. It’s difficult to watch this lady struggle with everything 😔 the shelters are a scary alternative they are dangerous. I have had past experience with it. I know the average person doesn’t understand why someone in her position would accumulate so much stuff. It’s when you lose everything again and again you gather things to form a cocoon of sorts. To give your miserable experience some sort of normalcy. It’s why you see many with bits of furniture, plants, etc. It’s true that they keep passing laws but provide no real solutions long-term. It’s easy to say buck up and get yourself back in society but when you’re in this position you have forgotten what that means and it’s overwhelming. My heart hurts so bad for them.
