most of my fathers side of the family graduated from Venice going all the way back into the late 1930's I was the last member of my family to go to Venice my parent move out of California in my Jr' year of 1978 . And I graduated from Yuma Union High in Arizona. And I will never forget how that suck for me because this is the place I grew up. After all I come from a founding family of Santa Monica. And my fathers side of the family had been living in California since 1849!

Now I'm crying, dammit! So many names and faces, friends, and people I saw around campus. . We have this carefully constructed mural of our lives, and the world around us, and to find so many of those who people our minds and hearts is tough. And some were taken so young, before they could make a place for their memory to be perpetuated. Their futures were literally stolen from them--and from the world.
