Desmond was ripped to scraps, so he cannot be resurrected like that. However, abstergo may make him a body, like they did for the ISU and use the anch to transfer his consciousness from the grey to his body and use the shroud to then heal him back to full form. They won't do this, but they could.

@@4vro Yeah Abstergo literally harvested his body to shit. There isn't a body to go back to. It's pretty much confirmed that Desmond's consciousness is still alive in the grey inside the Animus. Basically, if Ubisoft wanted to go they could bring him back. But they don't want to.
