A lot of older streets in LA (throughout America too) even in the best of times aren't exactly the most scenic or attractive. But throw in a bunch of litter, homeless tents, human waste, beat-up campers, graffiti & crime lurking around the corner & they're increasingly barely one notch about the hellscapes associated with the Third World.

Why the need to live in crowds ? Why have a large tent ? Why no stealth at all ? You could probably live outside like that by yourself anywhere in California and not be bothered ?! Why pitch tents next to boardwalks and businesses ? ? Treat it like camping and leave no trace. Get a bivy tent, a pocket shower pick a place that isn't frequented by people. Set up camp sleep. Wake up early wash up , pack up and have a goal in the morning. Idk Why I'm on here rambling. I guess I'm just puzzled. I know mental illness addiction and bad luck all too well so I get it some people are in nessed up situations and or some are just crazy or burnt or traumitized and most don't have a damn clue and it's sad. However this new wave of cluttering and huddling together with no tact, finesse,stealth or respect for the environment is just puzzling. Is it the meth ? The heroin ? The fentanyl? The economy ? Or are people just really out here with no cares just dirty stinking rotten butt rotten teeth by choice ??? 🤔

It seems like such a waste of resources. But I guess if they didn't do it weekly, the homeless would just accumulate even more junk, and at least the neighbors get a clean sidewalk for a few hours.

It looks sad but just remember LAHSA the homeless services agency offers each and every one of these people a warm dry place to stay. Because they would have to give up their drugs or their freedom they have chosen this, Or if they are mentally incapacitated they cannot take them against will.

I am watching the clean-up effort by the city with broken heart and tears. The homeless got few items. Everything is gone. The city, state, and the Federal government has to come up with an idea how to support this population. Instead of bringing illegals into this country. They can spend that money on homeless people. 😢😢😢
