Awesome seeing them finally kissing😍. But they are no Otalia 😢. I have to remind myself that 😂. They are obviously on two different pages. Gina is like ‘you know the deal’ and Ani obviously wants more but is in denial. “I’m naive to believe that one day you’re going to wake up and realize you made a terrible mistake… I will never give up on you” - Wow Ani has it bad. Gina is being completely honest with her but she still hanging in there. Sad. But I’m sure she will realize her worth.. hopefully. Or maybe Gina will eventually change 🤷🏽‍♀️. “I wish I can see me the way that you do… I don’t think I can be what you need me to be.” Well at least she’s honest, but at some point you would think she would just set Ani free if she doesn’t want to love her the way she deserves. It’s so sad that Ani knows this yet still has hope that Gina will come around 🥴 Song: “I want you to miss me the way that I am missing you” it’s the soundtrack to Ani’s heart/life at this point. Owen knows that Gina knows better. He says to be careful with her but it sounds like it’s a little too late. Gina says “I never really been able to get her out my head” 🤔 But she treat her like a jumpoff. Make it make sense. And she knows she’s wrong because she tells Owen not to make her feel like crap about it.🤦🏽‍♀️ Initially I was confused because I wanted my Otalia fairytale and they aren’t even together and Gina is on her playa-ish. But it’s new characters and a new story so I’m trusting the process. So far, so good!

When these actresses played Olivia and Natalia their characters rarely ever kissed. It almost seemed like they were good friends and not a love interest. I always wondered if it was do to one of them being uncomfortable touching another women in that way. So seeing the opening of this series shocked the heck out of me!

I had the same reaction. I would of love to see them ease into the bedroom scene, instead of smacking us in the face with it. To go from Otalia, then to barely being able to tolerate Ani was kind of harsh. What made Otalia popular was the total love story with the romance. Yes, we all wanted the kiss, but because the story was so beautiful, a kiss wasn’t paramount. Everyone knew they loved each other. After watching Venice a few times, I understand why they went that route, but I think it could have been told differently. I still enjoy Venice very much, but I’m drawn to watching Otalia more often. Just my 10 cents worth.
