Interesting comparison, Mike! Crazy how different two places so close to eachother can be. in the US I could drive four hours down the road and have nothing really change!

What a gorgeous video full of wonderful information. I've never been to Italy but have always wanted to. I'm going on a Greece cruise so I am adding a couple of days to the trip in Italy ahead of the cruise and am trying to figure out where to go and am leaning towards Florence. Thank you so much for this fantastic video. It SHOULD have many more views than it has.

I would so recommend Florence, especially if you love art! And thank you! Perhaps one day :)

I’m going in March. Which one will be better? Thank you.

Hmmm, I’d personally say Florence. Venice is gorgeous but it can be pretty chilly in the winter/early spring, and there’s a lot more to explore indoors in Florence!

How much Italian would you recommend a tourist know before hand? Or can anyone who only speaks English get by? Thank you for your time.

I would say it's a little more difficult to get by with just English than a lot of other places, but it's still totally doable

Very nice video as well!! :) I would like to ask you: what's the biggest cities, Venice or Florence? I m planning a trip around these two cities and i have to decide where to stay :) thank you sooo much !! :D

Florence is the bigger of the two, but both feel pretty small and quaint! I didn't use public transit to get around either city, just walked everywhere.
