We put little oil. Then add 10nos of nattu poondu.. it will burst. Then we add urad Dal (உளுந்தம் பருப்பு) .1.5 cup , Then half cup Chana Dal (கடலை பருப்பு), 20 dry chillies, asafoetida little, salt as required. roast till nice smell. After stove off..add Curry leaves(optional). Grind.. this is our homes idly podi.

Thank u for putting ingredient list with measures in the description box & having English subtitles for this vdo. Later, I went thru ur other vdos. I found Amazing collection of Veg recipes. I m too old to learn Tamil, so it was great to c the English subtitles in some vdos. But many of ur other Veg recipes Din't hv English subtitles. It would b nice if u will PLEASE make it possible for all ur other Veg vdos to hv English subtitles too. It will b greatly appreciated by all of us who don't understand Tamil as well as make it easy for us to learn such Gems of Veg recipes from ur channel. In one of ur vdo, Thangamma ji mentioned "MEM PODI" & said the recipe was given, which of ur vdo has that recipe⁉️Plz post that vdo's link as I will not b able to find it. Another request: Plz put English titles on ur vdos too, 'coz for us who don't know Tamil, it will b easy to select the recipe v want to learn. One thing sister hoteliers always familiarised with bulk quantities,,, to get the right taste of the product this will be the right method of showing the receipe which Deena is dng . You divide by ten each item you get small quantity. If you want less than that quantity again divide by five or ten you get small quantity this much we can do I think. If we ask for small quantity,, the measurement go wrong and we dnt get the exact taste.busy hotel we can’t expect .showing secrets from big hotels itself is big task few won’t show interest to show their secret receipes. I experienced . So enjoy the receipes ,,with small calculations and try the receipe. Any thing wrong dnt feel bad ❤️🙏
