Sudsy Sutherland Wasp were all about laughs and giggles. Same with early Maiden, Paul would take the piss. Northern Englishmen are different breeds, they love to banter. Check some Witchfynde interviews, Luther Beltz is fucking hilarious. (They're another new wave of British heavy metal band)

Yes they have and it seems to me that just keep getting better and better andin the new lineup is so much tighter than the old I do miss and the old drummer and mantisI wish they would come back but I know that's not going to happen because it had throughout instead of staying together as a tight unit

A lot of the famous British metal legends could be a bit goofy in interviews. Lemmy and Motorhead were pretty flippant sometimes in interviews. Bruce Dickinson could be a bit of a clown. Not to mention Ozzy. I think it's funny.
