So, early scripts on No Way Home did include Venom (at the very least in the final battle), but it seems like the writers couldn't find a way to work him into the story without it feeling clunky. So, he was reserved to the post credits scene to introduce the symbiote arc for the next Spider-man movie. And while it would have been cool to have Venom show up for more time in the movie, it wouldn't have worked very well. If it was just the final battle, then he'd have come out of nowhere with no real buildup, and if he was in throughout the movie, they'd need at least an extra half hour to give the character some room

Honestly I kinda like the Eddie gets a redemption arc he's on and I would love the actual teamup of TASM and Venom along with Toxic. Then we get either Harry or Flash Venoms for the MCU while Eddie and Peter duke it out in Sinister 6 because Venom just cant not eat peoples brains.

24:56 Venom is Carnage’s dad lol, symbiotes are A-sexual (in scientific terms, not orientation 😂) so they reproduce by themselves, Venom basically had a baby by accident in this lmao. Symbiotes get stronger depending on their place in the family too, so Carnage’s kid will be stronger than him, etc. there is a thing about red symbiotes being stronger but the lineage stuff is and will be more important than colour when/if venom 3 comes out, considering the hint at the end lol

When the original Venom movie released, I assumed it would be a horror Marvel film. And while there was some horror and gore, Venom 1 and especially Let There Be Carnage were incredibly comedic. My only problem is Carnage's and Kasady's relationship, in the comics they had a perfect bond far better than Venom and Eddie. Their bond was so strong that Kasady's bloodstream was fused with Carnage and the Carnage symbiote itself actually acted like Kasady. The cop Mulligan is going to become Toxin who is the spawn of Carnage and is the 1000th of Venom's family line, because of that Venom and Carnage feared that Toxin would be the strongest of the symbiotes.
