Sony’s “Venom” was a surprising box-office hit. It jump-started Sony’s Marvel Universe that will be continuing with the release of Jared Leto’s “Morbius” in July. But “Venom” is also getting a sequel, and the film’s end-credit’s scene already gave us a pretty big hint about its plot.
“Venom 2” will feature Cletus Kasady as the host for the symbiote Carnage. Woody Harrelson will take on the role and briefly appeared in “Venom” to set up the sequel. And while Cletus’s promise of “carnage” is promising for an exciting follow-up, Harrelson’s curly red wig was decidedly less-so. But the cheap hairpiece is thankfully nowhere to be seen in the first leaked photo of Harrelson in “Venom 2.” The photo, shared and then deleted by Tom hardy, shows Cletus in a much more serious light. And that’s not the only piece of leaked info from the set of “Venom 2.” There’s also some footage of Harrelson on set and reports of his fellow-villain and potential love interest Shriek making an appearance in the film. Got to give Sony credit for making these Spider-Man spinoff movies. I welcome the fact that we may be seeing a Kraven The Hunter and Mysterio solo movies. But if Sony really wanted to make a killing, they should make a Miles Morales live action Spider-Man movie. He is popular, has awesome powers and Into the Spiderverse proves, other characters are just as marketable as Peter Parker.

According to a few sources I’ve seen, there is a possible live action Spiderverse film in the works that is supposed to feature all variations of Spider-Man that we’ve seen. Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland are all supposedly returning to portray their incarnations of our famous web slinger. If this is true, we can only hope Miles could make an appearance.

The different hair changes fits Cletus because he is crazy. When the Carnage symbiote fuse with Cletus it will make sense that it will Cletus look sharp scince the symbiote can change your appearance.

It absolutely WAS like that early on. Wasn’t it? Without doing a search first, I’m almost positive in his first appearances(which the end scene is equivalent to), and for awhile after, he had sort of bushy(not puffy/Afro)curly hair. I think the end scene captured it EXTREMELY well! It might not be 100% PERFECT, but WAY better than like probably like 90+% of marvel comic-to-movie looks, including hair. NOW I’m going to go do a search and find out if I need to edit this or not lol

Woody is a phenomenal actor, he can play various roles. His depiction of Mickey in Natural Born Killers shows he can do a psychopath flawless. I'm pretty stoked ,the first Venom was really decent better than I thought it would be I think venom 2 is gonna be dope esp with a cameo from Spidey.

Venom was fun. I feel like since they didn't start with Spidey, Venom has lost a few important things. #1 In the original Spidey comics Eddie and Venom never achieve full symbiosis, since Venom belonged to Spidey first, he attuned to Spidey. which leads to... #2 Venom gets some of his powers from Spidey, Web slinging, wall climbing, spider agility. #3 Venom can cancel Spidey's danger detection sense because of his attunement. That means he can sneak up on Spidey, most villains can't do this. #4 Venom and Spidey agree to part ways after Venom realizes the only reason he's bad is cuz he hates Spidey. So Venom Patrols the west coast and Spidey the east coast. What happens when both run into each other while investigating related crimes? I have the complete Maximum Carnage series, and a complete collection of all the Venom mini series comics released and lots more on the symbiots.

I like the red curly hair. That is Cletus Cassidy. It makes him look more insane. That is what makes Carnage such an evil and terrifying villain. The host that the Symbiote connects itself with is a psychotic mass murderer who has not morale code and has absolutely no sympathy for anyone. "Some people just want to watch the world burn."

If they weren’t gonna connect Venom to Holland’s Spidey, I was gonna out hope for Cameron Monaghan to be Carnage in Holland’s spidey world if they went there. Course, seems they are and Harrelson is going to kill it. Pun intended. And love the Hawaiian shirt look. Shorter Red hair looks good and while it looked kinda silly wouldn’t have mattered if they kept other. There’s more important things in how ge will look and in the arsenal. Hated how Riott has some of Carnage’s weapons. They need to get creative and go bigger for Carnage.
