Love Venom. Regrettably never got to see them in the 80s, but did see them on the Metal Black tour. Thanks for sharing your awesome collection. Hail !👹

I'm super happy you brought up Resurrection. Leviathan is a very underrated Venom song in my opinion.

Resurrection is a great album. I feel that this band has so much that is largely overlooked. I love it all. Venom forever!!!

Rad collection man!! I think I'll grab that 7 inch box set as I only have one of the originals in my collection. Great stories and Trick R Treat rules! I have a first wave Black Metal video up that has my Venom vinyl in it but I'm always looking for more especially the Video 45 on VHS. Take care brother!

Thanks so much for watching! Trick Or Treat is so awesome and I still watch it every Halloween. The 7" box set is a must have, in my opinion. The colours look so sweet!

1. I didn't know your Venom fandom ran so deep! 2. I've always known it, but watching this video reminded me of how complex Venom's catalogue is. 3. I think I'm one of the few (especially old fans, 1984 for me) who prefers their newer stuff to the classic stuff. 4. Possessed is my favourite album. If I had to choose a single favourite song, maybe "Rise".

Hahahaha yeah, I am “diehard” when it comes to Venom. I just love it all. There’s definitely something in Mantas’ playing that sets Venom apart from everyone else. There is just so many subtleties that make their music different to every other band of the genre. They really do stand out. Each member has contributed so much to the sound of Venom. It’s amazing. I love it all, as you could tell. Hahaha Thanks for watching.

You would have loved my collection, back in the early 90's.....I came across this guy that had ALL the Venom stuff - Neat record first pressings, all the albums, picture disks, 45's, bootlegs and they were like all mint. So i ordered everything through the mail, at like normal prices. The guy said he knew the owner of Neat Records, and that why he had all the stuff. The only thing i was missing was a couple of the Assaults. I got Black Metal about 1985. It was the Neat Record cassette with the orange labels. It was fun being a 15 year old kid in 1985.

@@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow I dont know if you have seen that postcard, that has pictures of all the different vinyls? but i had all of them, even colored vinyl on Neat Records, and all the limited edition posters that came with the LP's. I had Possessed on blue vinyl on Neat Records....it was so beautiful...Cheers

@@MichaelArsenault-s4s I have that postcard… as long as I’ve got one of every record, I’m cool with that. Just found another bootleg in Japan recently. So stoked on it. Had never seen it before.

Was that guy Bill Robson ? He was a friend of Dave Wood ( Neat owner ), and knew a lot about all the different pressings. I bought a lot of Venom from him back in the day

@@seangoat Cant remember the guys name, but he was in the USA. He told me he was a millionaire. Towards the end of me buying from him i got a record that was all scratched up. I sent it back and he was like " thats impossible, that record was brand new" and after that when i went to order more, he photo copied some of the posters that came with the vinyl, which was a cheezy move. He thought that i scrached up the record, and then sent it back, which was not the case. The record looked like somebody took a screwdriver to it, both sides where totally destroyed. But by this time i was all done ordering from him anyways.

I have that Singles 80-86, and i think it has that weird thing too. i can't check it out because I don't have a vinyl player at the moment...☹ Edit: I forgot I have the CD version and it has that thingy.

I know exactly where you are coming from...I got a lot of heat because I liked one song by King Diamond and they automatically thought that I was a Satanist In high school...a good song is a good song no matter who sings it.... Between the movies The Gate and Trick or treat? Trick or Treat all the way

Hell yeah, man!!! Trick or Treat forever!!!! And people giving others shit cos they like heavy metal… sit was just so ridiculous back then. If Metallica had released Enter Sandman a few years earlier, my school life may have been a lot different. Hahahaha

@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow mine started in 1985....well actually before that when my grandmother bought Love Gun by Kiss...but I didn't start getting into hard rock/metal music until I heard Smokin in the boys room from Motley Crue...then I started Reading every Metal magazine i could get my hands on such as Metal Edge, Circus, and Hit Parader....But I really fell In love with Ronnie James Dio and his tenure with Black Sabbath and his solo career....a few years ago I started listening to his stuff while he was in Rainbow.
@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow Жыл бұрын
@@RevolutionRicky awesome! I love Dio Sabbath! I was lucky to see him in Japan with Heaven And Hell and it was incredible. That guy was a gift from the gods. We were definitely lucky to have lived in the same time continuum as him. I used to read an Aussie mag called Hot Metal and that was all I really remember reading regularly. The USA magazines were always import so they were so expensive and my budget didn’t stretch that far between the skateboarding and the records. Hahahaha

@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow I can relate...if I didn't spend 2 dollars on metal magazines I would either buy 7 inch singles or save enough to buy a cassette tape...many Times saving my lunch money to add to whatever I had saved...nowadays since I'm in my early 50s and semi-retired ( I have a lot of orthopedic problems) I can just buy my favorite cds...
@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow Жыл бұрын
@@RevolutionRicky that’s how we did it! I was the same. It’s amazing how many people I speak to who kept their lunch money at school and bought records with it. Hahaha
