im competant in umvc3 with good combo skill, but im struggling to pick up mvci. i tried completing a few of the character trials, completed around 8 or 9 of them but the game still feels completely foreign to me. keep forgetting what all the buttons do and the double tap input in the dpad for certain specials is doing my head in. i like the game but i just dont seem to be gelling well with it, the way i did with mvc3, even though mvc3 was my first fighting game outside of street fighter. as a result, i dont play it anymore, never had a match online either. would ask for tips but i guess the answer would be keep practiscing and stick to two characters until you get good.

It helps with Venom's voice if your sound card lets you change the pitch to -4. Much better IMO.

I know this isn't related to the video but Disney is in the process of trying to buy fox and I'm wondering if anyone here thinks that X-Men and Fantastic 4 characters could make it in if that happens. It is a rights issue that caused them to not be in the game right or was it something else? (Someone clarify pls)

Marvel Entertainment can use any Marvel characters, but they had been holding themselves back from using X-men and Fantastic Four characters because they can't use them for the movies. With Disney buying the majority of Fox next week, Marvel will have the movie rights back so there should be no reason they won't go crazy with X-men or Fantastic Four. But we probably won't see them for a while.

Hence why we saw the likes of Cyclops, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Beast, Rogue, Storm, Magneto, Scarlet Witch, Cable, Quicksilver, and Apocalypse were added into Marvel Future Fight as playable characters as soon as the ban hammer was taken off. You just described carnage mostly. Venom's voice should be much more gritty and powerful. Both are twisted, but if I didn't know this voice came from venom, I personally would've thought they were releasing carnage. Although that'd be pretty dope.

Avery Hepburn yea that is pretty much venom but the voice still sounds like carnage, they can keep the over the top lines but change the voice a bit and that’s all, still the best character in the game design wise
