I like Venom although not really as much as I used to but I think the reason I am able to appreciate him so much is because for some reason I mainly just think of his Spectacular Spider-Man version more than anything else. Anyway this was a great video as usual and the song choice is definitely very fitting. Looking forward to all of the July villains!

I agree with you. I do like and a appreciate Venom as a character. Both of them are very iconic characters formed into one. And the reason why I said "both of them" is because it's both Eddie Brock and The Symbiot together. Some people even point out that Venom is Spider-Man's true opposite/nemesis. But for a time I don't really see it that way. Spidey and Venom are not necessarily the same in comparison. Or at least I don't think so.

Actually, you're right, but you have to admit that seeing Venom as an antihero in spider-man TAS, spider-man unlimited, and ultimate spider-man and marvel's spider-man mas amazing, but seeing him as an antihero in movies was way better

Nice video and not a bad song choice at all for Venom with the lyrics. Almost all of the lyrics I think fits surprisingly efficiently with Venom. :) :) "I am done pretending" and "They wanna take me down As if I even care" I think fit with the rush and the euphoric feeling that the Symbiote gives, whilst "I am the monster in your head", "I am the venom in your skin", "Feeding lies into my head" of course fit how the Symbiote is like a devil on its hists' shoulder that has WAY too much pull on their grey matter - that's the superficial stuff. What I especially love here is that a TON of the other lyrics ("Suck you dry again", "Some are not worth saving", "I will choke the life within", "And I thought you'd learned by now, It seems you haven't yet", "And now your life is broken", "After the lights go out on you, After your worthless life is through, I will remember how you screamed") might superficially seem like they're referring to Venom taunting his victims, but I think they're actually referring to the Symbiote's parasitic relationship with its hosts, shortening their lifespans while corrupting them, and it's as if the Symbiote is giving them the facts. The choice of editing with shots on the Symbiote and/or its hosts only furthers that effect for me. :) "I can't afford to care", "I am suffocating" and "will drag you down again" in the same context seem to me like it's the hosts' suppressed conscience crying and screaming out underneath the Symbiote's influence. :) Nice vid. :) :)

Great tribute. I love Venom, both as a villain and as a hero. Random question: Does anyone else think that Topher Grace would have been a better choice to play a different version of Spider-Man in a different Spider-Man movie rather than Venom? Topher Grace as Venom to me is like Jesse Eisenburg as Lex Luthor; great actor, just not the best choice to play an intimidating supervillain. I mainly associate Topher Grace with his role as Eric Foreman from "That '70s Show." Eric was a nerd in every way possible, and interestingly enough, he loved Spider-Man. He even ends up dating Donna, a hot red-head who's basically his Mary Jane. I honestly think Topher would have done a perfect job portraying both Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
