Ahah, as I told Daring Lime recently, to me Relentless is still the best aggresion event in the game for dealing with minions, and you still prove my point. Clobber or one by one wouldn't have save you :p On Collector I subject, I love playing him in Standard II. In this Expert I, you luck it out a bit, because he has so many way to fill the collection. In Standard II, he his weaker in stat, but more importanly, he put less card in collection because he does not access to Stage III. Very good game. And yes, I like Venom very much, very powerful, without being overpowered IMO

@@alberttaco3668 Collector can definitely be tough, especially for the unprepared deck. This series serves as a fun personal challenge for me, so Expert is required even though the amount of attempts needed may slowly be creeping up...

@@charredgambit I was not trying to disaprove the fact that you play Expert I collector. I totally understand why you did so, it makes total sense! And I apologize for miscommunication. I was more trying to answer the question you ask at the end of the video, about "what are you thoughts regarding collector I difficulty". I full agree with your analysis at the end of the video. How he punishes you from many fronts, and I found myself toning the difficulty down to Standard II to reduce the "luck factor" of getting "collection out of the game", if this make sense lol. I'm totally fine with him punishing chump blocking, and trying to tax you every turn to keep the collection in check. I'm just not fine with his stage 3 when revealed effect, and stats.

Great game. When I saw Shadows of the path, I was like well that’s a loss, but you pulled it out. Relentless assault was clutch. Nice finish.

@@alberttaco3668 Oh no it wasn't a miscommunication, I was just reiterating in case someone stumbled on the conversation! I really do like the thoughts and I'd probably prefer Standard Collector as well because his Stage III When Revealed is very nasty, especially in multiplayer. A big problem is just his encounter deck, it feels almost mandatory to take the tax of two resources or exhaust every turn since his encounter set and recommended mod sets are just filled with minions, attachments, etc. Only saving grace is at least the side schemes have Victory.

I really enjoy Venom. He’s on my list to pick up sooner rather than later-along side many others 😅 He was in my top 5 back when he first came out. And I love the aspect cards he comes with.

@@prufrock1977 His aspect cards are a really good shout-out, so many of them are strong, versatile, and still in use today. Venom was my first taste of a really powerful hero after the core set, so I had fun revisiting him after some time.
