and that is why the manga basicaly said "Goku, screw UI, thats not your way" and he took that serious, combining the evasivness of Omen with the power of blue and making it his own. Later on he even ditched mastered for an Omen where he retains his casual self wich he would need to block to even go UI in the first place. Basicaly he catched up to berus who is able to pull that off already (he aims for mastering UI together WITH his Hakaishin powers(also it was seen in the manga's exhibition match for Zeno already, he can pull off Omen and thus won against all other hakaishin). Also most of the time he still uses SSJ or Blue to fight, only going Omen or mastered for a short duration OR to use 100% that he has (like against gohan, who BEAT mastered UI, thus showing goku that UI aint the only way forward wich he likes(and the fact that he can get stronger without it)

Sadly the one thing that ruins these fights for me is just how easy it is supposed to be to destroy a planet and that every single attack used in these fights should have the energy to absolutely annihilate the world each time. Remember that during the time that Vegeta was traveling to earth and Goku was training he destroyed a planet with ease from orbit. And this was LONG before he could even dream about Super Saiyin.

Stupid. Weak characters competing with more powerful characters. The tiers between 17 with Piccolo are massive. And against Kamioren even more massive, so why are they even giving him a hard time. Dodging blasts and attacks that they shouldn’t see coming. Giant Kamioren punching the ground and making a crater to show off his power? Really? They couldn’t do something better than that? In the Tournament of Power, God of Destruction Toppo warped the World of Void and Anilaza punches were so strong they were bending through space in the Void? If they wanted an impressive feat, have him roar and shake the universe just by roaring.
