I worked as customer care in Flipkart for around 2 months before eventually leaving. But in the two months I did work there, cases like these were way too common for a brand that is supposed to be this big and a direct competitor to Amazon. People not getting their products, not getting replacements or refunds, being stalled out for 5-6 months. I saw it all. And all I could do was tell them that we'd be escalating it accordingly without any favorable outcome for the customer. After seeing all this I made sure my family would never buy anything off Flipkart again.

Thanks Shivam for highlighting this issue. Flipkart should be avoided when ordering anything. I ordered a prepaid PS5. The product was falsely marked as delivered, even though I didn’t receive it. I contacted customer support multiple times, but they were unhelpful and kept delaying the resolution. After escalating on various forums, Flipkart finally admitted their mistake and delivered the product after several days. I even sent them a legal notice, but they ignored it completely. The whole experience was stressful, frustrating, and showed how unreliable Flipkart can be.

@@realjeetishere As an Amazon CSA I've seen a lot of incidents where technicians do not visit (from smartphone to large appliance) & customers need to wait for long time. Internal teams do not update the tickets in time, resulting delay in concession. Lack of OTP based delivery for a lot of expensive items. For seller fulfilled COD orders there's a lot of instance that seller issue refund as phyaical cheque instead of Amazon pay balance/bank account refund. Cheque delivery time- 2 weeks from issuance. Then if you want we can cancel the cheque and issue the refund to your bank/apay balance. But the cheque cancellation timeline then will be 10 business days. (So you can understand for such cases how much annoying it is). For normal refund on return- You might get refund almost instantly after the pickup confirms. But it can take upto (pickup date+13 days) as well. Within that agents cannot issue any refund (we literally do not get any option now). And the worst part is these things aren't mentioned in website. But, there's one plus point in Amazon that if your account has a good concession history there's a big chance that your issue related to concession will be resolved quickly (still 'quick' means atleast 2 weeks. Can vary depending on scenario)

I personally use amazon for everything. Once i ordered a joystick from amazon and it didn’t come with dongle when i sent the video proof they instantly sent another one and even told me to keep the first one, same with a gaming mouse, the mouse stopped working after 5 months (it was under 6 months warranty) they sent a brand new mouse on sending proof. I can never get this kind of service from flipkart, my friend worked in the Flipkart CS team and would get literal abuses from frustrated customers.

I recently ordered a handheld gaming PC from Flipkart with an exchange offer. It seemed like a great deal, especially since Flipkart explicitly mentioned during the exchange process that they would accept the old device even if the screen was damaged. However, when the delivery agent arrived, they refused to pick up the exchange item, citing a black spot on the screen as the reason. I used to work as a customer service associate for the Flipkart process, and I can confirm that these issues were very common with Flipkart customers and whenever any customer used to come with issues like these, all we were told to do is "apologise, empathise" and escalate the issue and give them a new TAT. Kabhi kabhi toh mujhe bhi bura lagta tha inn customers ke liye.

Previous month after watching your video I had also buyed the same laptop with 4060 variant it cost about 1.15L the open box delivery was worst. The guy they sent, he bringed my laptop throwing all around the corners and dropping from his waist height. On topon that, he had no idea how to open the box & he won't let me to open it. In the end he opened the box by tearing it apart saying that "its already got this much of damaged, blame bealer or the company for that" Thanks to company packaging 🙏 for providing foam casing on the laptop. The laptop runs amazing & not a single scratch was on it 👏. Except now I don't have any thing to keep laptop even the charger box was halfly damaged which was inside 😢

It was open box delivery and the phone was checked, it worked, we accepted it. Then I take the phone home, the charger didn't work. I thought phone is in warranty, vivo service center was close by so I could go and just get an RMA for the charger. We go to the service center, the IMEI number of the charger didn't match with my phone. I asked flipkart for replacement, they ignored me, and eventually delayed it for so long that I gave up. Lot of people are getting scammed and they suffer no consequences. Please make sure some resolution comes out of this. I hope this person gets a proper resolution.

I had ordered two PS5 discs from flipkart, both were fake. The Seller had 4.7/5 star rating on flipkart. They had just sent me a fake empty disc with a sticker on top, looking very close to the original. I think I got my refund after a month, even after I am a flipkart VIP customer. I reported the seller and gave 1 star review to the product, yet my review isnt showing on flipkart and I don't think flipkart has taken any action on them as well.

I had a very similar experience. In my case, I had ordered The Last of Us Part II when it was released back in 2020. First, the delivery was late. Second, when I opened the product, it was a 1 tiny page of paper with a fake steam code on it. It was as if the seller didn't know how to scam properly even. Never got any refund or replacement after fighting for 1 month, shifted to Amazon entirely.

same happened to me 2 years back, Asus ka ROG strix laptop liya tha Flipkart se, 1 week me motherboard dead ho gaya, asus ke service centre se maine DOA banwa liya phit flipkart me return ke liye bola. wo bole ki 1 week me delivery partner (ekart) pickup kr lega laptop, bhai saab 2 maheene ho gaye koi aaya hi nhi, delivery boy call pick nhi karta tha, maine nayi nayi job join ki thi, merko laptop ki urgent need thi, mai refund aur replacement dono se agree tha, ki bss jaldi se laptop aa jaye aur kaam shuru kru. lekin bhen ke lomde har baar new date de dete the wait krne ke liye.

I also suffered because of Flipkart they don't take responsibility for any delay in shipping process I ordered a laptop in sale for 46,500 whose normal price is 63,500 the courier service delayed the delivery intentionally, when I complaint against this in Flipkart they said that they have no authority on courier service, I have to wait for the delivery and at the end I didn't get the laptop and at last they asked me to buy it at 63,500

Yeah I will also surely not recommend anybody to buy laptops or any other stuff from Flipkart. I bought a Asus vivobook 14 flip (i5 11 gen) from flipkart because it was 3-4k less from Amazon and when it came to my house the motherboard was dead. Same situation was there like in the video that a person will come and check it first....... touchwood the technicians came with all the equipment he started the laptop there was some short circuit in the motherboard but he made a DOA certificate (Death on Arrival) and confirmed the replacement......Flipkart gave the date for replacement 1 Month after I bought the laptop. Same no body came and it again jumped into technicians stuff but refund nothing from flipkart. Now the laptop works but because of the short circuit in it I am not able to use the touch screen for which I specifically bought also its backlight leds fused........ Thank you for raising concern❤❤❤❤❤❤

During a mobile sale, Flipkart gave Rs 3500/- off for exchange. When I opted for 'Buy with exchange', they showed the item is not deliverable in my pin code. When I removed 'Buy with exchange', then suddenly, they could deliver it. What a MAGIC ! Everyone please share this as much as possible before Flipkart takes down the video
