This is a good move but all the brands utilize their different charging tech. Oppo uses supervooc, mi uses mi-fc and vivo uses flashcharge. And these charging protocols are proprietary. That means no one is compatible with another and will charge device in only 10-15w. The only solution is by mandating all the device manufacturers to use usb c PD tech as second charging protocol. Usb c pd is easily capable of charging devices upto 125w. Thus the true potential of USB C will come out.

@@Skull_Boi and how will they handle the power load without causing a problem as there is no proper medium to convert that large amount of electricity directly into the laptop without breaking a part or 2 from the inside, there is a reason gaming laptops come with a brick as a charger like 200,300w💀.(And I'm talking about current technology, in future we might get better type C chargers which can provide 300w power supply without a problem but that's in the future which might or might not come)

Sir sab type c charge already ho gaya hai. One plus ka phone supports one plus charger only. Mi phone supports mi charger only. One plus 100 watt charger charge my phone in 45 min.
