Might be a silly question 😅😅: usually in games, we see that GPU is drawing much more power than CPU. Like I have TUF Dash F15 i5-12450H RTX 3050 75w. In games, GPU is drawing 75w while CPU is drawing only 30w. Still temperature of CPU is higher. Why is it so? Can't companies use same cooling system for both of them? In high end laptops as well like GT Titan77, GPU is drawing 150w+ power while CPU is drawing only 70w, but still temperature of CPU is higher.

no, cpus are very small in size so they cant be given a dedicated cooling system, like cooling piped or fans, smaller the cpu better it is at battery efficiency. Coming to gpus they are massive in size and are given seperate 3 or 2 massive fans with heat pipes for cooling, thats why they draw more power and remain cool. CPU is the brain of your computer when u r playing games it has to create a bridge betweeen you and software of your laptop along with performance running on ur laptop however gpu is seperately dedicated for graphics. so despite it taking low pwer it has to perform more tasks than the gpu(cpu has to peform background taks, run drivers, run the operating system, dedicate power to different components of ur lapotp, run the program or game you are playin etc.) i hope i answered ur query

@@haaardikkk I am a bit convinced from the size logic but I don't think the operations logic is correct as the heat produced by silicon chips solely depends on power draw and not on number of operations it is performing. Below is the photo of my laptop with heat sink removed. I calculated area of both CPU and GPU and there is a very slight difference. CPU has an area of 3.2 sq.cm. while the GPU has an area of 3.5 sq.cm. In the image below, the square one is the GPU and the rectangle one is CPU. bro i have same laptop and cpu draws upto 45W max while gpu is between 65-75W, still cpu is around 85-90 while gpu never goes above 85 so i think its because cpu can hande temp upto 100 safely but gpu has more limitations
