The last rivet installed on the glass runner at the bottom of the bracket should be installed with the pull head side in the felt fuzzy channel. This is so the rivet head is pulled below the felt fuzzy surface. It’s possible with the 1/8” x 3/8” depth rivet end might protrude into the felt / fuzzy and rub against the edge of the roll up glass when in the door glass down / up stroke.

What size rivet and drill hole for the fuzzy strip? What grip range/size rivet? I think I heard you say 3/16" drill. Will the rivet head interfere with the window rolling up and down?
@Jvcomet7 ай бұрын
@huricanemk no you can use a small 1/8”rivit. It’s just to keep the window fix strip from sliding down. Thanks for watching 👍

5:03 what would you do if you broke the spring tension so it now flaps around in the wind. just replace that 1 bolt right?
@Jvcomet9 ай бұрын
Replace the spring and nut. As long as you didn’t break the stud that holds the spring

do not use steel rivets make sure you use the aluminum ones the rust runs from the steel ones suck
