Vented valve cover no weld

Just a small tip, you are NOT suppose to bottom the NPT fitting out. You are only suppose to thread enough that the fitting can thread in because you need the pipe fittings to be very tight against each other. You then use thread sealant or teflon tape on the threads. These were installed incorrectly.

What’s the chance the nut become loose inside the valve cover? Since the gasket is made of plastic?

For your 10an fitting what self tapping thread size did you need?

Pretty neat. I wouldn’t have used a pipe tread fitting but it will still get the job done. Any word on the adapter plate?
