I like that Wuwa's character can use their whole kit. More fleshed out and more personality. Their elements doesn't define them. But Jinhsi still looks entirely league above other characters in terms of lore & gameplay. A good example of "show, don't tell" genshin characters are basically just Skills & Ult. Their other kits are non-existent or just as decorations. Archon are essentially the identity of genshin. What an Archon can do, every other characters who shares the same element also can do, or in some cases even does it better than the archon themselves. Archon are only strong in lore but not gameplay. "Doesn't show but only tell" more note, that Jinhsi is not even the Sentinel, shes more like the "Avatar" of Jue. Not the Archon of Spectro. Yet her gameplay is shown that she's different than any other characters due to her relations with the Sentinel Jue but Jinhsi after 1.1 main story could technically count as Sentinel. But playable Jinhsi is before that story

This explanation is biased af. Archon are the best playable character in game. Only venti is the exception, still has the best CC tho. The thing is archons no longer fight anymore, thats why they are support character. By strong you probably mean « dps » fighter. Furina is still new but in terms of powercreeping Neuvi can be considered as Hydro Archon as well and he is a one man army. Nahida is the only Archon that will not be capable of being powercreeped I mean she is an AoE dendro that has a very high multipliers

@@teeman7137 if I were to put Jinhsi situation in genshin terms; Archon Jue gives Jinhsi a Spectro vision. Jinhsi is vision holder who's strong in both lore & gameplay. While the real genshin archon, couldn't even display a hint of their lore to be a part of their gameplay kit (doesn't show, only tell). This isn't about Venti nor even mentioned. Not their fault really when genshin's characters are just Skill & Ult. Their other kit are nonexistent or just as decorations Sure they are, justifiably weaker than their past self but in comparison to Jue, who's also hurt and weaker as well, can still change the universe. By extension Jinhsi as well, to a smaller scale (before 1.1 story) The current playable Jinhsi is not at Sentinel's level yet but she's already more extraordinary than Archon's gameplay A Sentinel's messenger is stronger than an Archon supposedly a god of the elements

Always felt like Archon unit gameplay were abit underdeveloped until Raiden came. And even Raiden is like, 4s WuWa gameplay at best (Her kit is a almost a 1:1 with Yuanwu) Venti swap in, E, pull Zhongli swap in, E, ult. It get abit interesting with his pillar interracting with other geo construct i guess In my opinion, all characters, especially Archons should be trying their best to flex their animation and showcase their power. Having 2 of your first Archon be supports with 2 animation of gameplay..isnt really a good idea

To be fair, I think this is a comaprison based on the whole "when the final boss becomes a playable character" meme. When you play as the first magistrate in WuWa, she is very clearly incredibly powerful and has wonderful animations. Meanwhile in Genshin they couldn't even bother to make their first two archons looks impressive at all.

I think Genshin is great on its own system because it's simple and pretty easy to understand since Genshin is for General Audience, that's how it becomes popular in the mainstream. And that's why Genshin can have 4 Characters Team, while Wuwa can have more flashy and longer on field animation. Plus, Genshin dont want to copy HI3 as it’s fastpace, so they go with casual open world gacha. If you want fastpace, they'll have HI3 already, and now Wuwa as the competitor, so play it.

don't forget genshin is also more focused on the world building and its elemental system. The combat of genshin has never been solely focused on a single individual but rather what they can do in teams and how they interact with each other. Venti's animations may be less flashy, but his kit is built around helping other units react and move, his skill helps other units glide and his burst is all about crowding enemies, infusing and element and applying it in mass to setup future reactions.
