Good general overview man, but would love to see some in use footage. Is the switching seamless? Or when you change an input get a tearing or black frames?

It's pretty good, on switching it locks to the picture almost instantly.

Does it draw power from the usb port of the tv or needs a plug

It doesn't draw much power, so the TV USB should work.

Have you encountered any problems after a few months of use? Does it disconnect or jump signals? I am looking to buy a switch and this one seems decent for 1080p devices.

TBH there's not a lot to this, other than plugging it all together. Power it up last though. If faulty, exchange with the retailer.
