It's marvellous how the way people choose to talk about these things, skews what they actually are and how they work. Mostly you'd notice founders to boast how they got funding or raised money without going into the expectations or obligations that brings with itself. On that note: What did WeWork actually accomplish or solve as a problem sustainably compared to how much attention and praise they got? Similarly how people state they "bought" a house or home. Instead of stating "We are making a bet on our future for the next decades that we won't change our mind and will be able to keep working and make income to pay off debt and interest.". ...but yeah, they "bought" a home. Thank you Afzal for explaining it this way.

Not related but do you think America/Canada is in a better position economically? I am thinking of moving there in a few months, I know many other Brits who have already. What is your opinion? Quality of life is much better that’s what my friends say. I actually know some people who saved here and then moved to an expensive part of India with their savings. I’m thinking about that aswell. I also hate the weather here. This is supposedly a first world country but quality of life is so low
