Venture Returns to Base

With our 2022 summer cruise to SE Alaska behind us, we wend our way south along the coast of British Columbia - stopping in busy anchorages to our starting point on Vancouver Island.

I was in the British Merchant Navy and visited Vancouver Island a few times loading timber, Nanaimo was one place we visited. We were in New Westminster and Vancouver and up to various placss and usually finished loading on the Island and we bunkered in Victoria a couple of times, John Wayne's tacht was there once, what a nice yacht too. Of course I met a nice young lady there, distant relationships never last, any port in a storm etc.....

When I was captain of M/Y CLARITY we were based in Sidney, BC during the summer of 2016 into the winter of 2017. Delta Marine did much work for us aboard CLARITY. They had (and I am sure they still do) many great techs. Watching your video brought back many good memories, thank you for posting your cruising adventures.

I can understand the reasons why it could be a good idea to combine the short videos but I think it unlikely I will do so. It is really a lot of work and I have found that more people watch the videos if I keep them short. I combined them during Covid because we were all stuck at home with more time to combine and more time to watch. Pleased you enjoy the videos!

All the music is carefully chosen and purchased from companies who provide stock music. This music is not generally available though normal sources and I don't know who the pianist is or other details. Recent music was purchased from Pond5.com but I don't know more than that.
