If I was buying another TT I would definitely look at the Delta. Good choice! Not sure I love the hitch 😂 but it probably looks more complicated than it is. 👍. Travel Safe!

Nice walk-through. I don't have an eye bolt for my trailer brake cable. I just put a carabiner style clip on the cable and attach it to the truck where I connect the safety chains. Super simple and no need to drill holes in the bumper. I just got one of the dog seat protectors a couple days ago and will try it on the next trip. I like watching RVers in travel trailers since that's what I'm in.

I’m really surprised to see an experienced KZbinr using that Andersen Hitch. I purchased one and returned it after 1 trip. Finally made the “Investment” with a Hensley Arrow.

We are very interested in the Hinsley and pro pride hitches because they do something that no other hitch does and have a lot of people recommending them.

@@VenturesomeCouple you will not be disappointed in the Hensley It is fantastic. There is a slight learning curve to doing a hook up as you have to be pretty much straight on as opposed to the ball which gives a lot more play. But once you master it and lock down the stinger… it is amazing. No more stress towing in heavy Tractor Trailer traffic and even heavy winds are a “Breeze” lol By far in all our years of RVing it is the Best Investment we’ve ever made.

We always called the blank or option switches on the dash poverty switches. They are intended for the controls for options we couldn’t afford to include! :-)

Chevy in there infinite wisdom out the rocker switches in the dash but did not connect the wiring harness for them. We received a bag of wiring and the instructions on how to install them. Poverty switches it is 🤠

Nice video guys, Thanks for sharing your setup. One thing Tina & I do is use a carabiner on the emergency breakaway cable, we secure it next to the chain on the hitch. I have had a comment that I should add a cable to the truck frame and attach it to that just in case the hitch on my 3/4-ton truck fails. Safe Travels!

If you add x-chocks between the tires, there won't be any trailer motion. Then you probably don't need that bar on the back of the trailer. The Andersen hitch looks like a pain to hitch up. I like the Equalizer E4, much simpler.

Disconnect cable should be connected by itself, not connected to the safety chain. Just get a Strong carabineer and connect it to the hitch plate or a recover loop.

If that is an RVLocks keypad lock, you don't have to enter the combo to lock it. Just press the lock button for 3-5 seconds and it will auto lock.

Nice video. We haven't had a travel trailer in over 15 years so I'm sure lots has changed with the hitching set up. Do you need a sway control device with your set up, or is that built in with the chains?

How do work around the absence of a 12 volt cigarette lighter receptacle in the cab powering all your accessories, especially rear view camer ?? Anxious to learn more about your rear view camera and the Anderson WD hitch.

We have purchased one from Amazon and will be installing it. We also have to wire in the upfitter switches since they installed the rocker switch and not the wiring harness.

I think you have way too many gagits on your dash. That truck is information wealthy right from your main monitor. Also, your safety break cord for the trailer should connect directly to your hitch. There's no need to drill another hole. But you all have a nice setup.

I have a question? Your hitch. When you tightened the nuts with your crescent wrench. What purpose do them chains serve? It’s not a weight distribution thing I don’t think? Is that strictly for sway? Sorry for the question just never seen this before in 17yrs of pulling our trailer.

Umm, that breakaway cable won't function properly if your safety chain comes undone. You can just add a carabineer to the cord and attach it to the hitch loops directly. Then if you come unhitched and the chains fail it'll still activate the brakes.
