I inserted a dosing capsule in the wrong way during the night in the dark like a dunce. The ceramic coated filling chamber of my Venty sustained what seems like a superficial scratch on the surface of the coating going around in a circle. Is the Venty still safe to use? Is this not a problem? Am I worrying for no reason?

It is a great pity that the Filling Chamber Seal Ring will break very quickly. You can already clearly see cracks in the video after removing it once.

As a frequent user for the past month: I use dosing capsules to keep the unit clean; it especially helps keep the oven clean. That and low temps, which I prefer - I don't usually break 190c. 170, 180, and 188. The small screen above the oven is the one I recommend cleaning frequently, every week. If you do that, then you only need to clean the cooling unit itself every month or two. I take it apart, put it in a warm soapy water in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner and just rinse/repeat for 15-30mins. I'm no scientist, so anyone feel free to tell me if any of this is bad.

their customer support is great. and its a faulty one yes, but usally their stuff is top notch. give it another shot and maybe try out the dosing capsules they leave little to no cleanup

you dont have to do every step everytime, but reality is i use it everyday 4-5x and clean once a week takes 15 mins not bad. if you use the dosing capsules it stays cleaner longer
